Antonia Lofaso

Antonia's Lofaso invites guests to discover her worldview through the cuisine she creates. Her food comes from her curiosity about the culture in Los Angeles, which was inspired by a visit from Long Island to Los Angeles from Long Island's suburbs. Cavatelli, carnitas, and other dishes can all coexist within a menu. The menu is constantly changing sensibility. All of her dishes are filled with her unique outlook for the future but also with a nostalgic look at the old. Scopa Italian Roots opened its doors in the year 2013 and quickly became very well received. The old-fashioned Italian rendition is widely regarded as one the Los Angeles' most captivating eateries. Patrons have described Scopa as a vital neighbourhood staple, where Lofaso always offers food that is authentic and undeniably satiating. Lofaso was an apprentice chef to master chefs learning their methods and taking chances. She was not afraid in doing so, merely following her instincts. She quickly rose through the ranks of Wolfgang Puck's Spago and went on to transform various high-profile kitchens located in Los Angeles while working closely with many high-profile celebrities. Lofaso and Sal Aurora partnered in 2011 to create Black Market Liquor Bar Studio City. She was able to secure the space within Black Market as well as the alliances she created. Lofaso's creative freedom could be enhanced by this collaborative effort. The goal of Black Market is to not be constrained in any way. It could start with dill chips, then shishitos peppers. Following that is a Korean Wing, and lastly the meatballs course. Antonia is the anchor for this bold array of flavors. Through her entire career, Lofaso has measured her success with her exceptional ability to understand her audience and remain authentic to her personality. In the course of her career, both Top Chef Chicago episode and Top Chef: All Stars highlighted her capacity to be her self outside of the culinary environment. Since then she's continued to pursue her work in front of cameras, including CNBC's Restaurant Startup Judge and recurring appearances on Food Network's Cutthroat Kitchen Man vs. Child. Lofaso released The Busy Mother's Cookbook 100 Easy and Delicious recipes in 2012, together with Penguin. The book also tells the story of her challenges when she was a student in The French Culinary Institute. She had a daughter, Xea and her son Xea. Lofaso claims that the motivation to her achievement is derived from her kitchen. That's how she stays on top on current events. Chefletics, her new brand has revolutionized the way chefs dress. It is a blend of style and practicality. Lofaso believes that sticking to your vision is important. To accomplish this goal, she created Antonia Lofaso Catering. It allows customers to enjoy a truly personal service.
